Iowa Coalition Against Domestic Violence - http://www.icadv.org/

The Iowa Coalition Against Domestic Violence is comprised of people dealing with the concerns of battered women and their families. They represent both rural and urban areas. There programs support and involve battered women of all racial, social, religious, and economic groups, ages and lifestyles. They oppose the use of violence as a means of control over others and support equality in relationships and the concept of helping women assume power over their own lives. They strive toward becoming independent, community based groups in which women make major policy and program decisions.

IowaCASA is a private non-profit organization whose mission is to unite people and organizations to promote a society free from sexual violence and to meet the diverse needs of survivors of sexual assault.

The Division of Mental Health and Disability Services (MHDS) works to ensure that quality disability services are available to Iowans who need them regardless of their age, their financial resources, or where they choose to live in our state.  Our goal is to enable all Iowans with disabilities to live, work, and participate fully in the communities of their choice.

The Iowa Department of Education (the Department) works with the Iowa State Board of Education (State Board) to provide oversight, supervision, and support for the state education system that includes public elementary and secondary schools, nonpublic schools that receive state accreditation, area education agencies (AEAs), community colleges, and teacher preparation programs.

The mission of the Iowa Association of Community Providers (IACP) is to promote quality services to children & adults with disabilities (MH/MR/BI/DD) in Iowa’s communities by strengthening association members.
