Outpatient Services
Vera French Community Mental Health Center outpatient services assist all age groups in Scott County and the surrounding area. Most individuals and families can be treated as outpatients. We offer services at reduced rates to qualified Scott County residents, and deliver a broad range of individual, group, and family mental health outpatient services.
- Services are available from social workers, psychologists, nurses, psychiatrists, and counselors dedicated to outpatient treatment for those who continue a usual life routine, but experience distress and disruption in their ability to function.
- Our treatment services include individual, family and group therapy.
- Types of treatment include: screening and evaluation, individual psychiatric services, counseling, psychological testing, drug and alcohol treatment referral, and medication management.
- We also facilitate contact with other community resources for housing, supplemental income, and medical treatment.
- Outpatient services can continue for a few weeks or several months depending on each individual's circumstance.
Emergency Services
In cooperation with Genesis Medical Center, Behavioral Health Unit, are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
