What is the Overdose Prevention Program?
A Peer Navigator will collaborate with clients in the community to help them access resources, offer overdose education, and provide naloxone to those at risk of opioid or stimulant overdose. They will also facilitate connections to supportive care services.
What is the goal of the Overdose Prevention Program?
The goal is to enhance access to substance use treatment and medication for opioid use disorder (MOUD) through outreach and engagement, while also boosting participants’ self-efficacy in sustaining their treatment and recovery journey.
The Overdose Prevention Program also offers:
- Peer to Peer Support
- Recovery Coaching
- Recovery Support Services
- Referrals to SUD Treatment
